Why I Started The Modest Archive

I started The Modest Archive because I wanted candles that reflected my faith - not just in aesthetics, but in purpose.

Every candle is named after an Islamic virtue: Iman (faith), Shukr (gratitude), Tawakkul (trust in Allah), and Sabr (patience). Each one comes with a QR code linking to a Qur'an verse, turning a simple candle into a moment of reflection.

I hand-pour every candle in the UK using 100% soy wax - no paraffin, and the fragrances are paraben and pthalate free. They're vegan, cruelty-free, and made in small batches.

Whether you're gifting them or keeping them for yourself, I hope they bring joy into your home.
